Welcome to WikiTDI.com

My goal with this site was to provide a common place for people that own the Volkswagon TDI to quickly and easily search for procedures and projects to work on their cars. I'm new to the VW world and although I have only included a few models, I would be happy to add links to any model you wish. Please drop me a note either in the Suggestion Box or the Add it for me please areas and I'll make the addition or modification. Thanks for dropping by!

This website as you can see is wiki based running Mediawiki software. I invite anyone that owns a TDI or a VW and has done modifications, repairs, or visual enhancements to join the wiki and start a page.

Format for creating a page

Please try to keep pages in the following format so as each project or procedure is familiar to new users. I have set up each model with a set of links for different parts of that model. If you wish to make an addition please start a new page and format it as below. Name it accordingly and then link it to the proper section in the proper platform. For Example if I wanted to add a how-to for the 5-light mod for 2002 jetta. I would start a new page and call it whatever you want but the title should have something to do with the how-to. Say we call it "5-light mod". You write out your mod or how-to and then simply place a link in the A4 Jetta 1999-2005 platform in the Lighting section. If you have any questions or need further help, please don't hesitate to leave me a message in the community portal or the suggestion box.

• Procedure Hardware - You can bullet or number your procedure or paragraph, whatever you prefer. Use of images is encouraged. If you do use images, it helps to thumbnail them to keep the procedural flow going
  
• Procedure Electrical - You can bullet or number your procedure or paragraph, whatever you prefer. Use of images is encouraged. If you do use images, it helps to thumbnail them to keep the procedural flow going
  
• Finished Project Photos - Here is where you show off your work. Photos do not have to be thumbnailed or can be thumbnailed to custom sizes to fill up the area.

Suggestions and Contributions

Please feel free to make any suggestions you feel may be worth while. The intent on this site is to have a collaborative place for people to go and add their personal "how-tos" or troubleshooting adventures. If you are not familiar with Wiki type language there are lots of hints in the above links. If you would simply like me to contribute your how-to or procedure on your behalf, you can add a link to the contributions page. I'll do my best to format it and put it on the site for you!
